INTERIM Engineering Reliability Manager Salary/Rate: £280 - £330/day Location: Manchester Responsible to the Head of Engineering Are you a forward thinking engineering Manager? Their products undoubtedly compliment their production methods, and as such, their product range is second to none In order to remain at the forefront of a highly competitive market, they have an immediate role for an Engineering Asset Care and Reliability Manager. This role will lead all ‘predictive’ engineering maintenance activities on site, accountable for developing the engineering maintenance strategy for the site. Role: You will be responsible for all autonomous maintenance engineering activities on a large manufacturing site. You will devise and ensure a robust and responsive maintenance strategy. You will create, implement and manage maintenance expenditure budgets for the factory, utilising various operational methodologies such as supplier optimisation, minimal inventories, and asset management techniques. You will obviously deliver a reduction in engineering downtime, facilitate RCM / FMEA sessions with engineers and operators and lead CMMS usage. Requirements: Demonstrating extensive experience within an FMCG or manufacturing /automotive / process environment, within an engineering maintenance leadership role and a proven track record in the delivery of significant project engineering tasks. You will have finely developed interpersonal and communication skills and the natural ability to inspire and lead large teams. A proven track record of meeting agreed performance targets, and financial reporting skills are also crucial to the success of this role. You will have led Autonomous Maintenance / TPM activities. You will be a lean specialist, armed with a tool box to engage, motivate and inspire people to change. You will also have the ability to identify improvement opportunities and monitor individual and team performance. You will display effective organisational skills and demonstrate a forward thinking, career ambitious and enthusiastic approach. In terms of your team management skills, you will also possess a strong ability in forming positive working relationships across all levels.
