The Account Manager position is a field based position and will involve the following:
  • Ongoing development and support of an agreed number of assigned manufacturer dealers in relation to their used car programme.
  • Communicating and gaining Dealer agreement for annual stretch used car targeting -monitor dealer progress against used car targets.
  • Organise and run regular manufacturer dealer review meetings as required.
  • Assisting dealers on sourcing adequate stock to achieve stretch targets
  • Reviewing and auditing dealers as required and in line with Industry standards.
  • Carry out agreed health check process with dealerships.
  • Liaise as required with all manufacturer personnel, agencies partners and suppliers.

  • Strong Motor Trade background with a sound knowledge of how a franchised dealer operates.
  • In addition, any knowledge of how a Manufacturer operates would be of great benefit.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills and the ability to deliver these at the highest level within the Dealer and Manufacturer environment
  • High knowledge in relation to Used Car Marketing, Sales and Management
  • Maintain a good understanding of supply & demand for manufacturer disposals at all times.
  • Demonstrate strong planning and time management skills.
