External Communications Manager Your new company An opportunity has become available to join an NHS trust based in Central London within a growing external communications team. You will be working within a location that has very accessible transport links. Your new role You will develop and implement communications strategy on projects for the trust and promote these so they are consistent with the vision and values of the trust. You will have to manage the communications with key external audiences such as public affairs, media and the trust's community and work with stakeholders across the business to form an external communications strategy that meets objectives . What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role you will need previous experience in external communications as well as experience within the NHS, however they will look at candidates with a background in local government. You will also need a proven track record in public relations activity and the successful candidate will also need to have strong written and verbal communication skills, being able to think strategically is also a key competency to being successful in this role.
