Our Client is seeking talented, insightful and ambitious Graduate Physicist to join their growing team based on the Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire border. The successful candidate will develop new medical devices by drawing on their insight, analysis, creativity, initiative and drive. You will make a direct contribution to advanced technology in the development of new products and take ownership of and responsibility for customer requirements by responding to detailed technical challenges and selecting the most appropriate solution. You will also increasingly provide technical and opinion leadership as you contribute to project teams, customer organisations and business presentations. Working as part of a team, your approach, reliability and dedication will enable you to effectively integrate with teams of physicists, designers and engineers inside the Company's organisation. You will establish and maintain high standards of performance throughout your work, based on your ability to effectively resolve and communicate complex technical solutions. Your work will display quality, honesty and integrity at all levels, in particular to address the standards of design rigour that are required to develop successful devices. The successful candidate will have a 1st or Upper 2nd class degree from a leading university in physics or related discipline - A higher degree would be an advantageous. You will also have a very strong understanding of physics fundamentals including analytical, theoretical, experimental and creative capabilities. The Client will also expect that candidates will have strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills and a desire to develop new skills, to improve the quality of their work and to take increasing responsibilities.
