Business Development Manager - East Midlands Salary: £40-50k £30k (Comission) Territory: East Midlands THE COMPANY My client is a leading IP-CCTV/VMS manufacturer that operate on a global level with a strong reputation for delivering intelligent video analytics and business intelligence solutions to customers globally. Their main experience is focused on complex projects providing solutions for campuses, transportation systems, airports, public venues, financial institutions, retailers, etc. THE ROLE My client is opening a Regional Sales Manager position based in the East Midlands to cover that area of the UK market. You will be in charge of presenting the company to integrators and installers, implement and execute the business development strategy for the region, develop and manage the sales channel in the region. Also, you will be responsible of sustainable growth and achieving the target of the sales region. Some of your responsibilities will be: Create, nurture and respond to sales opportunities and close sales orders for Company's Video Product Line. Establish quarterly and annual sales objectives in coordination with the Regional Sales Director Promote and sell Company's products and services through direct customer contact within the assigned geographic territory. Conduct sales calls, schedule 'local' promotional work and regularly with discipline track sales activities with all channel Oversee and manage the sale of Company's products and services within the specified territory. Prepare proposals and quotes for prospective customers and provide them with published prices, and information regarding terms of sales and delivery dates. Work on key deals to help define and oversee how our products are deployed. Provide product and sales training to manufacturer representatives, integrators, and end-users to help them understand our products including how and when they should be used according to their specific application. Attend tradeshows and professionally participate in booth duty within the Company's booth at various marketing events. Feedback end user customer requirements to engineering and operations departments to help implement product improvements and new product releases. Compile data on competitive products and pricing and report it back to head office, maintain working knowledge of competitive offerings. Identify key surveillance market influencers, establish contact with them, and demonstrate to them the superiority and utility of our products. KEY SKILLS: They are looking for someone who must be conversant with network-based solutions, ideally from the security industry, mainly in the CCTV-IP area, with the following skills: Excellent communication/presentation skills Enthusiastic, energetic approach Responsible, organised and self-motivated Sales and interpersonal skills Drive and motivation to develop new business opportunities.
