We are looking for a Creative Marketing Strategist to join our Campaigns and Engagement team. This is an fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic marketing and PR agency working on a number of exciting marketing campaigns across the UK. You must be able to create, plan, develop and implement innovative campaigns for a number of high-profile clients to help our team of specialists in PR, social media, digital, design, video and animation deliver excellent and award-winning results. Ideally, you will have experience of working within a busy agency environment, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience and most importantly a ‘can-do’ attitude Key Duties Producing creative and engaging written and visual content for websites, e-newsletters, social media, brochures, presentations etc. Taking client briefs, briefing in-house designers and managing design projects. Evaluating client campaigns to measure effectiveness and demonstrate return on investment Proofing and editing supplied client copy and copy created in-house. Other duties include: Managing client accounts and producing and delivering highly effective marketing and communications strategies. Planning and delivering creative and innovative marketing and social media campaigns, generating results for clients. Keeping up with the latest digital advertising opportunities across a range of platforms including Twitter, Facebook and Google and preparing and delivering effective online and offline advertising campaigns. Planning of video and film production, scripting, preparation of storyboards and scheduling. Planning and scheduling photography and providing direction for external photographers. Co-ordinating, producing and sharing engaging social media content for clients and for DTW. Engaging directly in relevant online conversations and responding to questions and queries on behalf of our clients. Developing innovative ways for integrating marketing activity with our broader work for clients across PR, social media, digital, design and video. Managing and facilitating client events. Budget preparation and management, including commissioning and liaison with suppliers. Assisting with business development and attending client pitches and presentations. Attending client meetings, producing contact reports and liaising with clients. Supervising and mentoring Assistant Strategists. Person Spec Understanding and experience of marketing in the digital world. Excellent creative copywriting skills and the ability to create content for different outlets and audiences. First-class proofreading skills and excellent use of English. An excellent eye for what makes great design and the confidence to challenge this. Flexible approach to work commitments, including out of hours activity and occasional travel and overnight stays. Ideally a minimum of three years’ experience working in a busy agency environment. Excellent communications skills and a confident presentational style. Honest and focused on delivering high-quality work. Results-oriented and able to work calmly under pressure and to tight deadlines. Passionate about delivering exceptional communications. Ideally an appropriate degree or equivalent professional qualification in marketing or communications. Preferably a member of the CIM and participating in its Continuous Professional Development programme. Good understanding of current and public affairs. Able to work on own initiative as well as collaborate effectively as part of a team. Experience of working in one or more of DTW’s target sectors would be an advantage.
