Senior Software Architect ASP.NET MVC Fintech Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Senior Software Architect to join our well-known Fintech50 client who produces software disrupting the wealth management market. The development team works in a very agile fashion on 2 week sprints. The Architect will be fully responsible for production, modification and maintenance of websites and web application’. As well as for the development, usability and testing of new and existing websites. This is mostly greenfield work though. Day to Day the Software Architect will: Ensure that the API architecture enables the business to efficiently and rapidly deliver against the corporate and technology strategies. Be responsible and accountable for the design, development, delivery and support of public and internal APIs. Identify and address architectural challenges. Design mechanisms to address cross-cutting system concerns such as reuse, integration and consistency. Participate actively in the technical community. Minimise disruption and maximise quality of any changes to the architectural software by striving for High quality releases. Build trusted advisor status with developers. Understand what developers, both internal and external, want and need from the architecture. Help developers see the value of the good API design and understand how to use it Develop an architectural vision for change that will engage senior management stakeholders by addressing their concerns and interests. Develop strategic view points and views of the architecture that target senior stakeholder concerns and interests. Sell the architectural vision to senior management stakeholders as well as team and project members. The Senior ASP.NET MVC Developer must have: 5 years technical software architecture experience HTTP and REST principles API gateway technologies Load balancing technologies OpenAPI specification (Swagger) or RAML/WADL Microsoft .NET framework C# Proven track record of applying testing, refactoring and patterns to produce high quality software. Understand what technical issues are key to success Excellent understanding of development methods and modelling techniques such as UML Sequence Diagrams and Data Flow diagrams I am looking for a Senior Software Architect that has proven development experience ideally in the financial field.
