From proof of concepts to entire large-scale applications, you will be a client-facing engineer working closely with partners to develop groundbreaking new capabilities on top of SpatialOS. We are currently exploring opportunities working on city efficiency, fleet management for autonomous vehicles, telecoms modelling and much more. There is a great deal of new engineering to be accomplished and your role could encompass some of the following: Developing new systems that allow SpatialOS to run within secure infrastructures, Working on client-site both in UK and abroad to deliver specific solutions tailored to the client problems Building high-quality, reusable frameworks and libraries to be used across highly regulated industries / organisations // ESSENTIAL - Strong Scala software engineering skills - Experience with Hazelcast, Docker and strong JVM knowledge - Pragmatic approach to software engineering and appreciation of productive tooling - Experience working in a customer-facing software engineering capacity - Willingness to travel and work at customer sites is desirable but not strictly required - Experience working on top-secret software engineering projects - You must have a current or expired US or UK security clearance - Minimum first-class bachelors (or 3.4 GPA in US) in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or similar This job was originally posted as
