Job Title: Customer Support Specialist Location: Sturminster Newton Salary: £18K - £20K Our client is looking for a customer support specialist to join their growing team, supporting their global customer base. You don't need to be an IT whizz, software developer or particularly technical for that matter but you do need to be able to find your way confidently around a smartphone. If you're a regular user of a SmartPhone / iPad or similar this could be the role for you. We're interested in knowing what Smart technology you use, and what Apps do you like? Do you help anyone else with their Smartphone / use of IT, i.e. parents / family / friends etc. To make your application relevant to the role please include any knowledge / experience you have of using Smart phones / iPads etc. You will need to have a good understanding of day to day tech (like Excel) and how to use it to solve business problems, HUGE attention to detail is required and you must be an outgoing and confident communicator; the rest they can teach you. You will also need a current passport as the customers are all over the world and you might need to go and provide onsite support in places like Milan, Barcelona or New Orleans. Overview: As a Customer Support Specialist you are the first point of contact for the amazing clients when they need help. Clients are generally professional event planners working at associations or large corporations. The end users of the company product however are attendees around the world from all ages and professions. Everyone from CEO to developers play a part in the support process at the company. This is more than just a customer support role; you'll be working with the team to handle anything that comes across your way. This is a chance to learn and be involved at every point of the company while helping and building relationships with a wide range of clients across the world. App Support Specialist Requirements: Have meticulous attention to detail Have amazing written and verbal communication skills. Love technology and be very web-savvy. You have a smartphone and are active on social media. Know your way around Excel and preferably Photoshop Answer enquiries and help requests received via email or over the phone. Be able to think outside the box and think creatively on how to improve the support process at every step. Love learning new things and be able to work with minimal supervision.
