We are now hiring an autonomous and ambitious Compensation and Benefits Advisor. This is an exciting permanent opportunity to join Leidos during a period of change following a recently completed a merger. The position can be based in either Glasgow or Whiteley. THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY You will be a lead member of the HR team with responsibility for the administration, change and development of the companies' compensation and benefits activity. You will play a key role in the business, providing daily guidance and analysis to the HR team and wider organisation. PROFILE You will be responsible for the day to day administration of benefits; processing benefit selections, enrolling new starters, and responding to employees queries. These benefits may include all or part of the following: holidays, sick leave, medical/dental coverage, long-term disability, group life insurance and pension programs. You will also: Evaluate present programs through research, surveys, and analysis of benefit trends and/or vendor management to ensure plans are competitive and current Recommend compensation and benefit plan/process improvements Act as a prime contact on contracts or projects Ensure the administration of all related programs are compliant with established guidelines, processes, procedures and applicable laws Advise leaders and HR Business Partners on compensation and benefit issues Our ideal candidate will: Have previously worked in a compensation and benefits role with pensions experience Have an excellent understanding of employee benefits Experience of merger or harmonisation activities would be a distinct advantage Be a competent HR system user Have advanced Microsoft Excel skills Be a team player with fantastic interpersonal skills Have the ability to work in a fast paced environment with strong attention to detail Develop solutions to complex problems Be able to appreciate and manage confidential information Security Clearance required to commence role: BPSS WHAT DO WE DO FOR YOU?
