Our client, a global leader in the Logistics sector, has partnered with us to find an HR Manager for their highly regarded HR team. Reporting into an HR Business Partner, you will take operational responsibility for one of their key depots, based in Enfield. The HR Manager will be responsible for the effective management of HR activities across the site, working with a flagship customer and iconic retail brand. The role will develop and deliver employee engagement initiatives across the sites and support the operational teams to support the company culture. There will be a strong element of employee relations and industrial relations and you will support and lead ad hoc projects depending on business needs, for example TUPE, employee engagement or restructures. The role will also support and coach the site HR Advisor, develop and deliver training material and provide advice on all aspects of company policy and best practice. The successful candidate will have a track record in successfully building and maintaining working relationships with Trade Unions, as well as being credible working with management teams and a blue collar workforce. Ideally you will come from a manufacturing, logistics or retail background. You must have dealt with complex ER issues and have a strong knowledge of current employment law. The role will be based in Enfield and will provide fantastic opportunities for growth and development. There is a car allowance provided on top of the salary.
