Description A chance to work for a big player in the South-West, your decisions will inform both digital marketing and web teams to fully optimise their strategies to grow the business. A great step if you’re looking to put your data-driven insight to the test on a large scale. What you’ll be doing The role itself will report into the eCommerce Manager and involve digesting the analytical data to inform the stakeholders mentioned above. Pretty cool to know your deductions will be a big part of their actions to drive the company forward. This will include examining entry/exit pages to maximise conversions, looking at checkout statistics and reporting of various sales channels (such as SEO/PPC), all the while working alongside the offline team to understand how direct mail impacts the web sales. Then you’ll use this information to prepare reports for the team, so you’ll enjoy working as part of a close knit team to present your findings. Another part of the role will be to benchmark performance between regions, and understand why they differ and if separate strategies should be employed. What experience you’ll need You’ll have a background in web analytics from an eCommerce business, ideally using tools such as Google Analytics / Coremetrics. It’s important to realise here that they have Digital Marketers and Web Managers who handle the campaigns which won’t fall into your remit, but you’ll be comfortable with the analytical, highly strategic approach to push their plans. 2-3 years in such a setting would be fantastic.
