Sales Engineer – Environmental Simulation Equipment - An experienced Capital Equipment Sales Engineer, based from home, is required by the UK’s leading Environmental Simulation Company, operating across diverse sectors SALARY: Up to £40,000, OTE; £50,000 BENEFITS: Car, Bonus, Profit Share, Laptop, Mobile, Pension LOCATION: Working from home, covering, Home Counties & South East COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Milton Keynes, Luton, Reading, Southampton, Basingstoke, London JOB SPECIFICATION: Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales You will be selling a range of Environmental Simulation equipment, including; extreme temperature, wind and vibration simulation to a diverse range of customers. Our customers operate in the Automotive, Aerospace, Oil & Gas and Electronics sectors. As an Area Sales Manager you could be selling a single item with a value of approx. £10k to a combination of systems with a value of £100k, (AOV £60k - £80k) with sales cycles varying from 2 months to 18 months. Orders of £1m are not common, but do arise, therefore the ability to present to senior management is an absolute pre-requisite. Our product is sold on quality rather than price so the ability to sell against price alone is essential You will be covering a designated territory covering Keynes, Home Counties and the South East. There will be a mixture of new and existing business, approx. 50/50. REQUIREMENTS: Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Although a formal engineering qualification would be advantageous, applicants with a strong background in Technical Sales, with a mechanical bias, will also be considered.
