We are looking for an exceptional individual to help us open many as yet untapped routes to market, for the Applause brand of permanent and contract contingency IT recruitment services. The Purpose of the Role The role holder will be a main driver for business growth as part of the Applause management team. Reporting directly to the Directors, you will be responsible for developing graduate trainee acquisition, on-boarding and training materials; will run Applause's very first graduate trainee academy desks and deliver fully trained and patch ready consultants to work new markets. You will also be responsible for further developing a company-wide review of performance measurement, monitoring and improvement using both existing systems and ones of your own devising to help manage, motivate, reward and incentivise Applause IT Consultants to deliver exceptional results. Skills and Experience Required Proven track record in contingency recruitment in the professional sector and more recently the day to day people management of recruiters IT Recruitment background preferred but not essential Must have fantastic written, verbal and inter-personal skills allied to experience of designing and delivering training and development materials for recruiters Experience of writing job specs, contributing to staff development plans Must be passionate about the recruitment process, business growth and staff development and be comfortable working in a fast paced target driven sales environment Must be a real self-starter able to operate often on own initiative with overall objectives Competent user of typical recruitment CRM software systems and MS office software applications Experienced in the effective use of KPI based measurement systems and generation of management reports Experience of external talent acquisition on behalf of a recruitment agency is highly sought after - especially if having experience attracting smart, well motivated potential graduate recruitment trainees Ability to deal effectively with third party suppliers to get the best deal for the company The Rewards Highly Competitive Salary Success based commission / bonus plan Generous Leave Company Pension Equity Share Options following probationary period Flexible working an option (may consider part-time 3 or 4 days a week) Superb "grade A" office accommodation in Birmingham City Centre close to all travel links Free hot and cold drinks The opportunity to drive growth and be well rewarded in an established, energetic, collaborative and fun company that's definitely going places This job was originally posted as
