HR Manager The Job: Reporting directly to the General Manager the successful candidate will provide a Human Resources function for the hotel, ensuring that company policies & procedures are applied and that the company's core values are maintained. This HR generalist role is very much about training & development and employee engagement, however the successful candidate will also require good experience of ER too and the associated paperwork. The Client: A very busy hotel with extensive facilities including excellent restaurant & bars, conference & banqueting rooms and extensive spa & leisure facilities The Essential Skills: Previous experience operating at hotel HR Manager level at a 150 bedroom property Ability to recruit talented individuals into the business Deliver the Learning & Development strategy Possess good knowledge of Health & Safety Procedure and Fire Procedure Experience of maintaining personnel records to ensure compliance with statutory requirements & ensuring that the agreed HR administration system is in place Ensure compliance with group policies and procedure Drive employee engagement Ensure Payroll is managed correctly working with the Accounts team Possess excellent communication skills Experience of advising manager's on Employee Relations issues CIPD qualification, desirable but not essential Practical knowledge of employment legislation Experience in building teams and strong working relationships.
