VAYNDSSE Direct Sales Manager - South East Salary: £40-50k basic 25% commission on top Benefits Location: South East THE COMPANY My client operates in the physical (electronic) security sector as a manufacturer offering a unique software oriented solution for integrated security. A wealth of experience in access control solutions has been enhanced with capability to manage IP video, intrusion and other security applications within one platform. THE ROLE My client is opening a Direct Sales Manager position based in the South East area to cover that area of the UK market. You will be in charge of developing sales direct to end user projects while implementing and executing the business development strategy. Some of the specific functions of this role will include: Able to create solution based sales - to understand technical issues and create solutions Create and be confident with presentations to groups (PowerPoint & software demonstrations) Create clear documentation when required Liaison with the company business partner companies to create turnkey solutions. Attendance at the UK office as required and from time to time at Netherlands HQ. Prospect building and sales development in chosen markets. Ensure that you have sufficient product knowledge - ongoing self-learning and training is expected. Contribute to commercial training of business partners. Contribute to commercial activities of the company, which could include seminars, exhibitions, presentations and demonstrations. Feedback experience and knowledge that could contribute to the success of the product. This is a home-based role Based from home and operating in the UK, primarily focussed on developing business in the South of England. KEY SKILLS: They are looking for someone who must be conversant with network-based solutions, ideally from the security industry or IT industry, so this includes access control systems, CCTV/IP Video, intrusion, intercoms and integrated systems. As well as the following characteristics: Communication skills - for business up to board level; for partner channel management; between colleagues and internal groups. Enthusiastic, energetic approach Responsible, organised and self-motivated Sales and interpersonal skills Drive and motivation to develop new business opportunities. Excellent knowledge of IP Networks, infrastructure and related hardware Established relationships with Integrators & Consultants (Ideally but not mandatory) Full driving licence required.
