The Company Our client deliver market leading conferences and training courses and are looking for a candidate to lead the sales of their training business. The Role The key objectives of the role: To identify and convert higher-value sales opportunities to both new and previous customers; including multi-delegate (group) bookings and in-house (non-public) training opportunities. To feed back to the business any key information gathered during the sales process; in particular clients' further training needs, their barriers to attendance, and currently untapped market opportunities. The Person The candidate must have proven and successful experience selling B2B training courses or conferences to senior-level business people. Enthusiasm for selling, a good understanding of the sales process and self-motivation to grow both the business and your own performance is essential. Key responsibilities: Increase sales revenue Follow up inbound public training course leads/enquiries and convert to sales Account manage past multi-buyers and key customers Build pipeline and new business Work directly with the marketing team to generate new sales leads from marketing Requirements: Proven and successful sales record SPIN seller Excellent understanding of the sales process and consultative sales techniques Good IT skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, Google and CRM This job was originally posted as
