We are looking for a Payroll Officer to join our busy and friendly HR team. As the Payroll Officer you will support the day to day transactional Payroll & Benefits Service within the UK HR Shared Service Centre and ensure accurate and timely Payroll, Expenses and Benefits delivery. Responsibilities include: In conjunction with Payroll and HR Admin teams, assist in the co-ordination and production of Monthly and weekly payrolls for the Lavendon Group Companies in the UK, 3rd Party Payments Calculation of SSP, SMP entitlement, Starter & Leaver processes including P45’s, collating overtime payments, Benefits Administration assistance, Employee correspondence, Balancing of payrolls prior to release each week/month & YTD reconciliations Understand and maintain the company coding structures and profiles within Payroll & Hr Software Monthly management reports and statistics Ensure all steps in the administration process are followed and relevant levels of authorisation have been obtained before processing To deal with telephone and personal enquiries in a confident and timely manner Assist in the management and development of annual plans and activity calendar for Payroll and Benefits to meet business and legislative obligations To ensure Personnel Files are up to date and accurate with respect to Payroll and Benefits matters To assist in the implementation of Payroll Services across the organisation, ensuring accurate records Provide assistance in the maintenance and administration of benefits and Production of P11D’s.
