Cambridge based Engineering organisation require a Bid Coordinator on a permanent salaried basis. .This role will help to support expansion by providing proposal coordination and supporting opportunities throughout the bid process. In this role you will: Coordinate the preparation of tenders for a wide variety of clients including international financial institutions, development banks and public and private sector business. Develop a complete understanding of the formal bidding process and be able to help staff apply it to specific proposals. Prepare briefing packs and present data to support kick-off meetings. Monitor and support the collection and analysis of intelligence. Manage and supplement internal data sources and be able to extract the appropriate information when required. Identify requirements from documents and meetings. Assemble and present appropriate standard company information for review. Manage the proposal timetable and meeting schedules. Manage review meetings. Oversee final technical edit. Take an active role in final editing and formatting. Ensure that appropriate internal and external feedback is obtained. Manage client portals including the exchange of information and the uploading of final documents. Candidate Specification With a confident manner, excellent communication skills and the ability to relate to individuals at all levels, candidates should possess the following attributes: Education to a degree level is preferred, in a related technical or management subject or equivalent relevant experience will be considered in lieu of qualifications. Track record of preparation of international and UK bid and tender submissions. Strong stakeholder relationship building skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
