Our client is seeking an IT Consultant for their technical team, you will have the exciting opportunity to help build solutions and watch them develop as their customers businesses grow. With the majority of their solutions and support being Windows based you will be exposed to all that the IT industry has to offer. You will be supporting environments built on the latest industry offerings. You will be joining a small, close knit team of 10 engineers who are continually striving to out-perform their previous achievements. This is an excellent opportunity to learn from others in your team, as well as taking ownership of projects from beginning to end. As part of the support team, you will be required to help diagnose and resolve issues on customer environments while ensuring that customers receive a high level of service This role is roughly 70% based at our clients Watford office, and 30% at client sites so you must have a driving licence and transport. This percentage will vary depending on your experience and personal preference You will be passionate and obsessive about IT with outstanding customer service skills. This opportunity will expose you to many different technologies and take your career to the next level. Full help and training will be given where there are gaps in your skill set. Company Our client has been providing IT consultancy, IT Hardware and Software installations, and IT support and cloud technology solutions for over 19 years. Role Management/implementation of Windows Servers and Office 365 Management/implementation of MS Exchange / Active Directory environments Installation of new servers, cloud solutions, PCs and associated infrastructure Responding to 2nd and 3rd line tickets (ticket / email / phone /on-site) Problem Solving / trouble shooting customer / hardware problems Working and learning as part of our team of 10 engineers · Dealing with and meeting with all types of people and clients from charities, builders, solicitors, accountants to shark distributors and model agencies · Working with small businesses with 1 to 100 staff where you are the subject matter expert offering advice and getting exposure to a wide range of technology Requirements 5 years’ experience in the following: Windows Server Management and 365 (Exchange / Active Directory / IIS) Hardware setup and maintenance (Server / Desktop / Routers/ Firewalls) Excellent trouble shooting and problem solving skills Excellent spoken and written communication skills Ability to learn on their own and self-study This job was originally posted as
