We also have offices in New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Santa Barbara, Boston, South Africa, Hong Kong and Shanghai. Job Specific Essential Functions 1. Sells Conversant’s Personalised Media solution and media solutions direct to Advertisers. 2. Develops and maintains customer relationships 3. Lead strategic account planning process 4. Able to manage career paths by coaching and mentoring direct reports. Holds associates accountable for their work by setting expectations, achieving commitments, providing feedback, and evaluating effectiveness. Provide technical leadership in the organization. 5. Facilitate marketing efforts for appropriate industry · Provides direction to individual contributors. · Manages staff (including direct, indirect, and matrixed) and project timelines. · Escalates critical issues to senior leadership appropriately. · Develops best practices and champions them within the organization. · Develops strong relationships across all Epsilon and Conversant lines of business as appropriate · Develops resources and new business opportunities · Hires, develops and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function. · Manages career paths by coaching and mentoring direct and indirect reports. Sets and regularly reviews the team’s strategic goals, and adjusts them to stay in line with corporate goals. Holds associates accountable for their work by setting expectations, achieving commitments, providing feedback, and evaluating effectiveness. · Collaborates with peers, HR and management on succession planning. · Meets with clients, client services, and product management teams regularly. · Responsible for growing and maintaining top line revenue · Responsible for new business development · Responsible for updating sales forecast and management forecast · Provide market based intelligence to product management and training departments · Supports organizational culture, promotes change for better Job Specific Knowledge and Skills · Able to communicate effectively, upwards and downwards within the organizational structure. · Able to solve complex problems and issues. · Able to recognize and manage new business opportunities. · Tactical in nature, helps to develop strategy · Significant understanding of single market · Manages execution of vertical strategy · Ensures team metrics are met · Understands contracts and negotiation process Ability to explain conceptual ideas simply Strong knowledge of General sales discipline and methodology Previous Experience Minimum of 8 to 10 years’ experience in a related field. Significant leadership experience required. Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant experience. Specialisation in Retail preferred. Experience of Digital Media, Retargeting, Direct marketing / CRM preferred. Overall Scope · Oversees the daily operation of two or more separate and distinct areas of responsibility. · Directs subordinate supervisors and/or managers in the development and implementation of departmental policies, · Procedures and programs. · Manages activities of two or more sections or departments through subordinate managers who exercise full supervision in terms of costs, methods and staffing. · Adheres to both company policy and governmental regulations concerning department and direct employee activities. · Manages departmental structure, workforce planning, career development, training, planning and budgeting. Direct Reports Manages individual contributors. Departmental Reports Participates in the process of hiring, objective setting, performance appraisals, coaching, and pay reviews.
