Our client is looking for an experienced Payroll and Benefits Officer to join their HR Team. Based in central Bristol and working for one the city’s premier employers this broad and varied role offers real scope for the right candidate to come in and make it their own. Duties will include: Managing the day to day processes for the monthly payroll, adhering to deadlines and rectifying any issues as required Undertaking all payroll audit checks on a monthly basis Processing pensions Dealing with HMRC issues, liaising with Finance as required Working with Finance to ensure the reconciliation process runs smoothly Processing P60s and managing the P11D process Managing and auctioning the Cycle to Work and Childcare Voucher Schemes, dealing with any queries as required Producing ad hoc and regular reports Supporting the HR Systems Manager, ensuring all data held on the system is up to date and accurate Person Specification Proven payroll experience Strong systems knowledge Good communication skills Able to work autonomously Strong attention to detail Able to problem solve with technical systems queries and payroll calculations This job was originally posted as
