Brief: West One Recruiters have a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to join one of the most successful online vaping platforms in Europe. Our clients specialise in supplying high quality vaping devices, e-liquids and products to customers worldwide. If successful, you will be contacted by our client directly. You will be responsible for managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks with the highest priority given to Google. You will be part of a new e-commerce team so it's an exciting to time to join for anyone who's looking to get ahead and make their mark. To be considered you will need to have a solid base of SEO experience and a proven track record of improving organic search results as well as a proactive approach. Good understanding of SEO techniques from on-page changes to keyword research and link building will be crucial as well as a willingness to improve your knowledge. Please note that this is a senior role and only candidates with 3 years of technical SEO experience should apply. Responsibilities: Analyse websites for architecture, on-page/on-site utilisation, content and navigation structures and identify strong / weak points. Provide SEO analysis and recommendations with regards to structure of websites and web pages. Work with the online content and social teams to ensure SEO friendly content is produced. Complete weekly and monthly reports using programs such as Google Analytics and prepare detailed strategy and performance reports. Evaluate product offerings, traffic, homepage page quality, content, design, payment options, shipping options, demographics of prospective customers when determining keywords and campaigns. Consult with web designers to improve the navigation of a website to enhance its search engine ranking. Conduct on-site and off-site SEO competitor analysis. Develop and implement link-building strategies. Keep up to date with the latest SEM technology, SEO updates and industry trends and developments. Keep abreast of white hat and black hat tactics so as not to violate search engine guidelines. Requirements: Proven 3 years experience (hands on) in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO). In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, Sem Rush, Screaming Frog). Must have an up-to-date, working knowledge of current, past, and projected trends in the SEO industry. Must have a fundamental understanding of white-hat SEO, Google Algorithms and compliance. Experience working with CMS platforms (Magento preferred) and building/administering content in CMS environments. The ability to work with back-end SEO elements such as .htaccess, robots.txt, metadata, site speed optimization, sitemaps and related skills. A deep understanding of mobile strategy and how it relates to SEO. A solid grasp of how blogging, press releases, social media, and related strategies go hand-in-hand with SEO. Proven success in link building and viral strategies. A background in creating reports showing web analytics data and website evaluations. Familiarity with other aspects of digital marketing.
