The Business Relationship Management team are the ‘front door’ for business IT changes, where they support the Business through governance processes, project pre-sales and small change request management. The Business Relationship Management team also assists the investigation of operational issues, problems and new opportunities, seeking effective business solutions through improvements in changed processes / procedures, applications and equipment. Our Junior Business Relationship Manager role works within the team, with users and the wider business to support the whole demand process, building strong business relationships and identifying how IT can play a part in solving business problems. The base location is flexible, but given the global spread of the business requirements, there will be a degree of travel required as part of this role. Given the specific nature of the role, background knowledge / experience of one or more of the following areas would be beneficial: · Service Now Demand Process · Producing reports, statistics & expenditure monitoring (for minor enhancements) · Pre project and Project initiation processes for o PPM Clarity & voucher processing o Docusign approvals o Requirements gathering o Technical estimation review · Processes for handling repeatable requests for example : o New location requests. o Monthly Common Codes updates Main Skills and Experiences Required · Educated to bachelor degree level or holds a relevant professional qualification · Has above average inter-personal skills and is confident in dealing with business representatives, suppliers, clients and users · Shows a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving. · Possesses an understanding of the business and relevant processes · Have a knowledge of relevant development life-cycles, and the environment in which they operate. · Understands the interdependencies of business processes and information systems. · Demonstrates up to date knowledge of the organisation’s business environment, organisational relationships, business processes, and reporting. · Can identify gaps in the available information required to understand a problem or situation and devising means of remedying such gaps. · Retains objectivity and proper understanding of a problem or situation when placed under conditions of stress. · Understands the needs of the internal or external customer and keeping them in mind when taking actions or making decisions. · Takes innovative approaches to problem solving and devising inventive and creative solutions. · Understands the hierarchy and culture of own, customer and supplier organisations and being able to identify the decision makers and influencers.
