Our Client based in Ashford requires a Project Engineer - this role is offered as a full time permanent position.The Project Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the Engineering Department responds to customer issues in a professional and timely manner.The Project Engineer will be required to write technical reports for customers providing all pertinent customer information, technical data, testing information and conclusions, with help from the relevant subject matter experts. Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering. Key responsibilities · Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects · Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications · Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field · Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status · Assign responsibilities and mentor project team · Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support · Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions · Liaise effectively with all other company departments · Undertake other duties when reasonably requested · Comply with site health and safety policies and wear PPE as required Requirements · Proven working experience as a project engineer · Excellent knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD · Advanced MS Office skills · Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards · Ability to work with multiple discipline projects · Project management and supervision skills · Decision making ability and leadership skills · Time management and organisation skills · BS degree in Engineering or relevant field Other information 39 hours per week 6 month probationary period Holiday entitlement 25 days per annum plus bank/public holidays This job was originally posted as
