The Place We are currently working with one of Edinburgh’s most iconic institutions located in the south of the city. The business has built an enviable reputation over the years on providing first class service and a unique vibrant atmosphere. As the business grows and develops we have a great opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic Sous Chef to help drive the venues food operation. The Job As Sous Chef you will report directly to the Head Chef and be responsible for helping with the kitchen operation, overseeing food ordering, preparation, stock control and conforming at all times with health and hygiene regulations. You will have a passion for fresh food and help produce mouth-watering menus that are in keeping with the establishments image while also celebrating the best local seasonal produce. The Person We are looking for individuals who want to excel and be part of a quality establishment. This is a family run business with a close knit team so the successful individual will form a valued part of the business. Candidates will be offered between 20 to 30 hours based from Wednesday to Saturday both during lunch service as well as evenings.
