Electronic Engineer - Aerospace (Circuit Design) Location: Cambridge with travel Permanent Salary - up to £40k Benefits Electronic Engineer - A long established and successful defence engineering company are looking to recruit a 1st class Electronic Engineer to support the Circuit Design function in order that both project and statutory requirements are met and to improve the effectiveness of the circuit design function within the company. Electronic Engineer - Key Responsibilities To effectively support the engineering manager as required, to support bids and projects To competently attempt to resolve technical problems associated with assigned products Continuously seek to improve the processes and procedures within your area To help ensure engineering activity is carried out in accordance with engineering procedures To support the preparation and updating of project plans for assigned projects Assisting project leaders to deliver, attending project review meetings as required Electronic Engineer - Skills and Experience - Experience of electronics design in aerospace - Familiar with appropriate standards and processes within area - Familiar with circuit design and analysis and test techniques for analogue and digital circuitry - Exposure and experience with some of the following is required: - Familiarity with aerospace environmental issues (DO160) - Experience with formal requirements capture, validation and verification Desirable; Familiarity with DO254 Familiarity with PCB design Familiarity with EMC techniques Familiarity with software and DO178B Familiarity with reliability and reliability prediction Familiarity with system design practice Be familiar with the manufacturing techniques used for aerospace electronics Candidates must also be eligible to apply for British Security (SC) Clearance.
