We are currently running a search for a Business Development Manager for a leading plastics manufacturer. This company have a large presence globally and this role will focus upon both domestic and international sales growth. Our client is a leading plastics manufacturer working across multiple UK and International manufacturing plants. They have well established relationships with some of the leading OEMs in a wide range of industries. This role will lead the extrusion moulding sales within their business and develop upon an already strong reputation and market position. This role will work equally in a new business development and account management fashion. The role will work in an autonomous manner being the main interface to new and existing clients at both a commercial and technical level. Hands on engineering experience with plastic extrusion moulding or knowledge of the product and its application is therefore highly advantageous. Experience Required Successful track record as Business Development Manager / Account Manager Comprehensive understanding of extrusion moulding Track record in the successful implementation of a sales strategy Driving forward change and embedding a positive sales culture 'Hands on' willingness to business develop, both at tactical and strategic levels and fulfilment of the full sales life cycle Natural ability to support a broad range of clients and multiple stakeholders This role is a key driver to their extrusion division's growth and will look to build relationships into new markets and industries.
