If you have a passion for the food industry and are looking for a great company to work for, then read on A vacancy has arisen for a Concept Manager based at the Corsham site. Reporting to the Innovation Manager you will be responsible for driving the NPD / EPD agenda for the supermarket across cooked meats, deli counter and snacking categories. You will help set the NPD strategy and ensure that activity is market leading. You will have the opportunity to manage the total development process within the category, successfully delivering both the internal as well as the supermarket’s critical paths, from market trawls, concept briefs through to process sign off. Working closely with all areas of the business you will drive the food culture internally throughout the business and the food agenda as a whole with suppliers ensuring all innovation and industry best practice expectations are met. About You You will have a degree or equivalent in a related field plus relevant experience within the food industry and ideally you will have some cooked meats experience. You will be a real foodie, passionate about innovation, and have a proven track record with launching new products including both concept and an understanding of process development as well as people management, effective planning and organisational skills. You must also be an effective communicator, able to confidently liaise with key people and engage and influence others, be an experienced and resilient problem solver and be able to demonstrate strong IT skills.
