As the Carbon Trust continues its mission to accelerate the move to a sustainable, low carbon economy, it’s essential we recruit, train and develop the right staff that will have a real impact. To ensure we achieve this, we have an exciting opportunity for a Resourcing and Development Manager who will play a pivotal role in the HR Team, managing the recruitment, development and training of key personnel. Contributing to the overall development of the organisation, you will manage the full recruitment process, from writing job descriptions, response handling, application sifting and supporting with interviews, if and when required. You will also work closely with the HR Director to ensure that the business has appropriate training programmes in place, which will have a positive impact on business performance and professional development. This will include organising and evaluating staff training and development and overseeing the annual appraisal and development cycle and managing and developing the company’s mentoring scheme. To be successful in this role, you will need to be full or part CIPD qualified with experience of managing the entire recruitment cycle at all levels of seniority. In-house recruitment experience is essential.
