Our large format store on York Road, Seacroft trades over 4,000 square feet, so there's a huge range of stock on display - furniture, clothing, bric-a-brac and books - both new and donated. The York Road shop plays a hugely important role within the West Yorkshire Area, so we are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working person to join the team. A Manager who has high standards of presentation and strives to be the best. As Shop Manager, you'll take responsibility for making your large format store a big success. You'll maximise sales, control expenditure and manage a team, who'll look to you for leadership and guidance. Under your management, both paid staff and volunteers will get the training they need. To do this, you'll need to have been a Shop Manager in a fast paced, large format environment. It is also essential that you're well-organised and have experience with managing a diverse team of people. Experience/passion for V&R (preferred but not essential). Specifically, you'll need a GCSE-level education; basic admin skills and a gift for helping customers find the perfect purchase - and plenty of commercial sense.
