An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Shift Engineer to join a leading manufacturer of plastic packaging solutions based in Foston, Derbyshire. We are looking for an experienced Shift Engineer to be electrically biased but capable of working on a range of mechanical faults. Training will be provided where required and up skilling. Duties will include: Carrying out day to day routine material supply process control, production machinery maintenance and repairs Contribute to the continuous improvement program being run on the site Planned and reactive maintenance Working on electrical & mechanical production machinery The successful Shift Engineer will: Be a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer Preferably be time served Have experience of working within a manufacturing environment Be familiar with PLC fault finding Have experience and knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics The hours of work are 12 hour shifts, 4 on 4 off, days and nights. This role would suit an experienced Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer.
