Are you an experienced Manager, with a solid background in Learning Disabilities or Mental Health services? Are you a confident leader with an ability to effectively manage staff? If the answer to these questions is yes and you are looking for your next challenge, we have the perfect opportunity for you As Service Manager for the Wiltshire area with an office base in Melksham, you will oversee and manage around 1200 hours of care and support for people with learning disabilities in supported living services and in their own homes. You will provide management, support, advice and motivation to staff teams to ensure that service users are supported to be as independent as possible and achieve their goals, as well as provision of person-centred approaches to all who use your services, and high standards of professional practice throughout. To qualify for this role you will need to hold a QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Care or equivalent, and have experience of managing a staff team along with over 600 hours of support per week. You will need to be flexible due to participating in the on call rota, and a full UK driving license and own vehicle would be essential. You will become part of a dynamic, innovative organisation, and in return for your dedication and commitment you will benefit from a salary of £25,000 per annum (negotiable for the right person) and an extensive benefits package.
