An exciting position has become available for a Project Building Surveyor which will provide the right candidate with job variety and exposure to a range of sectors. You will be working for London's key developers and property owners to deliver first-hand experience on some of London's award winning projects. You will be supporting senior members of the team in managing projects as well as taking ownership of projects and clients too. To apply for this role you must have a proven track record in Project Management, contract administration and employer's agent services, as well as, Building Regulations submissions, party wall services, maintenance plans, planning application submissions, condition surveys, quality progress inspections and tender documentation. Skills required are as follows: - Degree or Post Graduate diploma or Masters, preferably in a construction or property related subject. - Willingness to undertake professional study leading to MRICS (Chartered) status. - Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Employer's Agent or Contract Administrator with procurement and cost management of subcontractors. - Working knowledge of planning procedures, contents of planning documentation and dealing with planning conditions in relation to 'With' Contractor's Design Forms of Contract. - Attracting additional work from existing clients and developing new clients and workloads. - Ability to communicate effectively via multiple channels. - Positive approach to team working with excellent inter-personal skills. - Ability to lead a team both within the Company and a Project Team. - Positive attitude, demonstrable initiative and ability to self-manage and prioritise. - Literacy, numeracy and ICT skills In return you will be given training and benefits with a rewarding salary.
