We are currently recruiting for a Information and Performance officer, initially for a 12 week assignment. Our client requires the successful candidate to implement systems and provide complex advice to facilitate their compliance with freedom of information and data protection regulations and guidance, and assist with corporate information and records management systems. This is a full time, temporary position with a 9am start and 5pm finish (45 minutes for lunch). Duties to include: Co-ordinating the process for responding to Freedom of Information (FOI) requests, including: logging FOI requests received; allocating them to the relevant service to respond to; producing and circulating a weekly list of all FOI requests received; and collating and publishing Freedom of Information responses on the disclosure log on the website. Supporting work on equality and diversity, including communications activity, organising training sessions and administration of the interpreting contract. Collecting and presenting quarterly performance management information from services Organising meetings and events to support the work of the Strategy and Partnerships team Publishing information on the website and staff intranet Supporting other members of the Strategy and Partnerships team as required. To be considered for this role, candidates must: Have experience of implementing corporate systems for gathering information and responding to customer queries Have experience of presenting information and data for a wide range of audiences Have experience of analysing complex information, statistics and data. Must have an understanding and knowledge of data protection legislation, guidance and good practice. Understanding and knowledge of the freedom of information legislation, guidance and good practice.
