As Housing Concierge you have a really important role in supporting the effective running of our service as you’ll ensure the safety and securing of our buildings and of our clients. Jupiter House Foyer is an accommodation service located in Hayes, Middlesex. The service comprises 3 interlinked buildings providing a total of 150 units of short term, temporary and permanent accommodation and is home to vulnerable young people aged 16yrs to 25yrs and homeless families. Accommodation is provided in single rooms with shared facilities, en-suite rooms and 2/3 bedroom flats. We are eager to find enthusiastic and flexible people with the right qualities who can contribute towards making a difference in our clients' lives and increase their quality of life with their committed and collaborative approach in return for a very fulfilling job role and prospect of progression Home Group are the landlord of Jupiter House and provide a full housing management service to all clients You’ll get involved in lots of different activities which will include monitoring CCTV, regularly patrolling the premises, monitoring visitors to and from the building and ensuring tenancy conditions and service rules are adhered to. As our housing support Concierge you’ll also provide out of hours cover being the first point of contact for our clients during the night and at times we’ll also need you to do some general cleaning duties too. A bit about you Previous experience is not required as we provide a thorough induction and training programme, but it is important to us that you have a good understanding of the role and of the issues that affect vulnerable people and our client group. We want someone like you who has a positive can do attitude, who is enthusiastic and motivated to learn. To flourish in the role, you’ll be fantastic at maintaining accurate records, activity logs and are able to provide both verbal and written reports. As we provide 24-hour support to our clients every day, you’ll work on a rota basis and will require working evening, weekends and bank holidays. Supervision, team meetings and training will be provided during normal office hours.
