Overview of the Station Team Leader Role About us Southeastern is one of the busiest commuter rail companies in the UK running more than 2,000 trains, and carrying nearly 600,000 passengers every day between London, Kent and East Sussex. We also run the UK's only high speed train service on our 'Javelin' trains with a top speed of 140 mph. Your leadership, deployment and direction of the team will ensure they provide a welcoming environment and first class customer service. You will also play your part in the efficient running of services by ensuring the team carry out their safety and security duties effectively. About you You should have proven supervisory and customer service experience with a keen desire to assist our customers to the very best of your ability. You’ll be able to work on your own initiative, prioritising, monitoring and liaising with all other staff. You will also have a good working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel. You may be required to start work as early as 0600 hrs and some shifts will mean you will finish after the last train has dispatched for the evening – so ideally you will have your own transport to get to and from your place of work.
