All of this and more within a safe environment, award winning facility and benefits that really go the extra mile … We offer: On-going assignment with opportunity for permanent employment Up to 28 days holiday, rising up to 35 days after 12 weeks service (inc. public Hols) Dedicated Randstad Team based on-site, ready to assist and support you Regular Attendance Bonus Regular Performance review and recognition schemes Candidate surveys - we value your opinions and welcome your feedback to shape our service Full induction and ongoing, professional training Auto Pension scheme enrolment As a Maintenance Technician your duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Fault finding on critical production plant & equipment Carry out repair, improvement and planned maintenance work on production equipment Compliance with health, safety and environmental policy requirements within area of responsibility Effective logging and documentation of reactive and planned maintenance tasks Experience in a similar role A flexible approach Suitable applicants will have: Experience as Maintenance Technician relevant to an industrial manufacturing environment Completed an accredited apprenticeship and be multi-skilled in both electrical / mechanical functions Self-motivation and the ability to work on your own initiative The ability to work closely with others is imperative, requiring team participation to achieve the agreed objectives Fully flexible approach to the job role and responsibilities Strong communication, interpersonal and organization skills The ability to read, comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions/procedures Good problem solving skills, necessary to get to the root cause of issues Electrical / Mechanical Fault finding experience Will to work a multi-shift system Experience in using PLC based systems would be an advantage This position operates on rotating shift basis, changing every 2 weeks: AM shift: Mon to Thurs 06:30 - 15:00 & Fri 06:30 - 12:00 PM shift: Mon to Wed 13:30 - 23:30 & Thu 13:30 - 23:00 Please note that a drug and alcohol test will be undertaken prior to being offered an assignment.
