An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Contracting & Commissioner Relationships to join the Finance and Commerce Directorate within 2 gether NHS Foundation Trust. The successful applicant will : offer expert advice and have professional responsibility in leading the Contracting and Commissioner Relationship functions within Herefordshire and Gloucestershire take the lead in working across a range of acute, community and mental health contracts including both NHS and non-NHS providers in relation to all contracting matters on behalf of the Trust provide professional leadership across 2 gether for contract implementation ad management including advice to executive leads and service managers take the lead on the management and negotiation of 2 gether contracts worth approximately £108m, supported by 2 gether’s Finance, Information and Clinical teams work closely with the Director and Deputy Director of Finance to develop and grow the role of contract to management to increase skills and provide a sound basis for development for all staff develop, implement, manage and review contract processes and procedures to ensure a robust approach to contract management is applied across the Trust to keep up to date about developments in contracting models and advise 2 gether on best models to maximise outcome for patients manage the Contracts Administration Assistant. A valid UK driving licence plus the use of own transport for business purposes is essential. For qualifying staff the Trust has a Lease Car Scheme in place.
