Job description: The role will report directly into the Supply Chain Excellence Snr Manager and will develop, qualify and deliver global transportation systems and processes; compliant to Pfizer PQS Global standards and Regulatory requirements. The role interfaces at operational, managerial, global regulatory, quality and logistics groups, external vendor and in-market quality leads. Role has a major impact on internal customers and a major influence on external customers acting as global Temperature Controlled Logistics SME. Act as a Global SME on Qualification and Delivery of global transportation systems Develop and Co-ordinate Qualification vendor/contractor activities for global thermal packaging and active transportation systems Advise on Global Lane Risk Assessments and solution development. Advise and Develop PQS/GPB's Global Best Practice/Operating Procedures Advise and assist with the delivery of global Regulatory DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ sites/market documentation requirements. Support Pfizer Regulatory in Gap Analysis and supporting Regulatory documentation Develop and Assist with Training and Awareness. In TCL Global Standards. Lead TCL global projects as assigned by TCL Senior Management Support TCL related Global Change Controls. Support TCL CAPA investigations. Support TCL Audit Readiness activities. Support global Logistics Incident/Performance improvement activities. Support and Co-ordinate assigned global cold/temperate chain Improvements initiatives Support global New Product Introduction Logistics requests. Ensure TCL qualification documents are archived at frequent intervals. Act as SME/Owner where assigned a Global System/Process responsibility. Act as SME in support of IO Logistics Delivery/Network Operations. Act as SME for Global TCL related internal and external audits Act as a team member in the Pfizer TCL Global Client Council. Organizational Relationships: Supervision will take the form of Weekly contact with their direct supervisor/Manager Responsibilities To perform assigned tasks as outlined above as appropriate to the individuals assigned group. Transactional and Performance Reporting of cold chain processes, related to Havant operations. Compliance to PQSM3117 and related global standards. Each of the above accountabilities will involve the following support activities: Project leadership o Lead and support assigned TCL global projects. o Develop knowledge and communicate information on current regulatory and company standards that must be met to achieve and maintain compliance to PQS M3117. Technical Assessments o Advise, support, the development and publication of global System Impact Assessments, Protocols, Reports and other documentation associated with validation of temperature controlled operations and facilities, as appropriate for each validation exercise.(DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ) Compliance o Keep management informed of significant quality/performance issues, which may have a potential impact on patient safety, employee health & safety, company operations, and/or the environment. o To assure compliance through assisting audits of IO contracted vendors and Forwarder facilities. o Through effective communication and training effectiveness, ensure that all validation/qualification activities are performed in accordance with Pfizer Policies and Procedures and published Validation Master Plans. Process Excellence o Deliver solutions that are both cost effective and compliant, with a Zero Defects mindset. o SME support to the TCL Global Client Council that drives Excellence in Pfizer global TCL processes. o Provide training support to new colleague's acting within the TCL Global network Specialist role. o Develop knowledge in innovative global temperature controlled solutions by networking with Industry bodies and colleagues. Training & Education Required: Educated to HNC / HND level in an appropriate discipline (e.g. Logistics, Quality) with a broad technical/educational skills base and substantial related experience or comprehensive experience in a similar role with relevant experience. Training & Education Preferred: Graduate educated in an appropriate discipline (e.g. Logistics, Quality, Science) with a broad educational skills base. A Quality or Logistics Excellence background with developed knowledge in a Pharmaceutical or Food related industry in qualification/compliance activities. Prior Experience Required: Developed Knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirements for the Pharmaceutical industry. Extensive experience working in a regulated industry carrying out process evaluation/qualification at operational and project lead level. Highly developed Knowledge of equipment and/or thermal packaging/transportation qualification practices gained through relevant experience working within the pharmaceutical or Food related industry Prior Experience Preferred: Highly developed understanding of storage and shipping systems and the techniques used to qualify such systems. Developed knowledge of DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ processes within the pharmaceutical industry (trainable skill) Developed use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Process mapping software. Proven strong communicator and Influencer in the delivery of global standards/processes. Technical Competencies Required: Quality Systems Developed Knowledge of Quality Process and Practices including the development of a life cycle approach and regulatory expectations. Computer literacy High developed computer literacy. An ability to be able to demonstrate a capability to use modern enterprise IT applications such as Microsoft Excel, Project, PowerPoint & Word.
