Advocacy Specialist - London - £35-40k My client is a leading global search marketing agency operating on an international scale with offices in multiple countries, and the London team offers strategic support across 127 markets around the world. They offer unrivalled services across pay-per-click, SEO and affiliates. They can work purely within search, but also work in a wider context across the entire digital landscape. Gathering insight from data, to find out where clients’ online visitors are coming from, what they want and how they can be converted into a customer, if clients understand why someone is visiting their site or app, they can create content that fills their customers’ needs. My client needs an Advocacy Specialist to connect some of the worlds and most loved brands to online influencers using a creative range of engagement tactics. This is a diverse role that focuses on partnerships at many different levels. This includes the fundamental activities that involve grass roots influencers up to global brands and national publishers across a variety of specialist industries. Requirements: -Ideation and implementation of outreach strategies -Negotiation and management of freelancers/vendors -Responding to new business requests with scoped quotes -Hosting partner events -Speaking to the media departments to find partnership opportunities -Lead creative brainstorming sessions according to brief and present back -Respond to briefs with Digital PR and/or outreach solutions that fit within the client’s brand -Conduct detailed advocacy audits of brands and their competitors across a variety of platforms -Quantitative and qualitative research including the use of enterprise social listening tools -Request insights data from the search and social teams in combination with own research -Provide data led content strategies/recommendations -Play an active role in new business pitches -Championing the important role of native content distribution in digital marketing -Contribute toward thought leadership in the form of web articles and white papers -Respond to briefs with detailed scope of work -Budget breakdowns, resource scheduling and risk management -Create detailed campaign plans and roadmaps -Ensure that the agency has the best outreach/advocacy -Performing objective performance reviews and leading RFPs when necessary -Develop digital PR offering including strategies, goals, budgets and tactics -Manage the workflow using project management platforms, Asana and Basecamp. -Chair weekly WIP meetings with the advocacy team and report back to the SEO Group Director -Experience either in an SEO, PR or Social team -A good understanding of how to maximise SEO value through content marketing -Active blogging and demonstrable thought-leadership via personal social media channels -Existing relationships and personal network “rolodex” in various industries -Achieve influencer buy-in from journalists, forums, publishers to bloggers/vloggers For full spec and package details contact Steve Lee – 07500 894 611 This job was originally posted as
