ENGIE are recruiting for a Multi Skilled Engineer to be based in and covering the Glasgow area. This is a permanent full time role working 41.25 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days shift pattern and will involve weekend working. On offer is a competitive salary between £30,000 - £32,000 depending on skills and experience, company vehicle and benefits package. The role holder will undertake building services and maintenance repair works, including gas, ac, electrical and building fabric PPM works, issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are met. To be successful in this role you must provide the following: Minimum of 3 year history of employment (including information which can be verified for any gaps) If you do not have 3 years previous employment, a professional reference must be provided (obtained from a Medical Practitioner, Officer of the Armed Forces, Teacher, Lecturer, Lawyer, Bank Manager, Civil Servant etc) Proof of identity & eligibility to work in the UK which must include Photographic I.D - Passport or Driving License. - Passport and all relevant work permits - or NI Number information / proof and full Birth certificate If no legal photographic documentation is owned then a passport photo which has been signed and verified by any of the above professionals will be required. This needs to show their title, signature and contact details. 2 proofs of address from within the last 3 months (i.e. council tax bill, bank statement, utilities bills). Any required qualifications or driving licence if required for the role. Main Responsibilities/Duties Include: To actively undertake proactive maintenance works for all building services, (reactive works not yet identified by a client) identified on site. To undertake new installations and major and minor repair works to clients systems Diagnose and repair faults on systems. To evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out. Work in accordance with Work Instructions, Safe Working Practices and Method Statements ensuring relevant paperwork is completed in an accurate timely manner. Maintain the cleanliness of plant rooms, workshops and storage areas. Be proactive in reporting faults to equipment, buildings and fittings. Work safely, ensuring the safety and well being of yourself, colleagues, customers and visitors. Carry out on call duties as part of the branch rota. To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met. To ensure that equipment operates to specified performance criteria. To ensure equipment and surrounding area conform to agreed company standards. To provide a professional service and represent the company in a way ensuring customer satisfaction. To be fully aware of contractual requirements and customer needs at all times. To take a pro-active approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary. To ensure that administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents / records are maintained accurately. Qualifications Recognised Mechanical / Electrical Trade Apprenticeship Gas Safe (Commercial Gas qualifications CIGA1, COCN1, ICAE1, ICPN1, TPCP1A) 17th Edition Electrical IEE FGas HVAC Control Systems and air conditioning is desirable Significant previous experience in a similar mobile service environment Must be flexible in their approach to work A full driving licence is essential for this role For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
