Job Title:Junior Consultant - REA00004N Location: Basingstoke Salary:Up to £30K 5% flex Role Overview: This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and challenging account as part of a team in a supportive environment that deliver a service, with minimal levels of complexity and risk. As our Junior Consultant, you will undertake the acquisition of professional knowledge and expertise and carry out a range of defined core administrative, operational and/or technical activities within a section or department.You will work independently whilst reacting to changing circumstances and will respond to routine queries, issues or circumstances.We are looking for 6 to 12 months of previous hands on oracle ERP experience.You will be seeking a career move into a huge ERP environment with numerous domains that offers hands on training to include technical and functional exposure; data fixes, change requests etc. Please note that you need to be eligible for BPSS for this position . Role and Responsibilities: · Develop an awareness of consulting models and/or methods through networking and research and utilises knowledge gained to support ongoing personal development and contribute to success of team · Develop personal network of contacts within team to contribute to high levels of chargeable personal utilisation · Deliver assignment in accordance with agreed scope, time, financial and quality measures · Ensure effective client/senior management engagement during assignment, taking a proactive role in identifying any issues and potential solutions that may arise within the assignment and escalating · Contributes to assignment review at the end of each and every assignment (or six monthly for long term assignments) · Develop personal knowledge of consulting models, methods and a ‘specialist area’ through participating in education activities. Essential Experience : · Qualification includes Bachelor / Master’s Degree in Business, Information Technology or Engineering, or equivalent qualification · Ideally a background in ERP related technologies and/ or business operations e.g. SAP, Oracle or Microsoft related products · Good attitude to learn new skill & adopt new technologies · Possess excellent interpersonal skills to interact with all level of people of the organization · An eye for quality and detail, combined with an ability to think creatively · Experience of Microsoft Office type applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Email · Hands on experience of Oracle PL SQL · Experience in one or more of the following : · oracle EBS R12 modules/ domains · System Administrator , Application Developer · Finance: AP, AR, GL, CE, FA · Manufacturing : INV, WiP, BOM etc · Purchasing: Purchasing and IProc · Order management · Projects and Contracts · Knowledge or experience of using issue/incident management tools.
