Better Placed Recruitment are working in partnership with a household name FMCG business who are looking for a driven National Account Manager to strengthen their presence in the food service channel. Our client is a global powerhouse and home to the UK's best loved brands. Leaders in their category, they revolutionise the market with strong NPD and successful innovation. The foodservice channel is a fundamental growth opportunity for our client and they are currently developing an ambitious 5 year strategy in order to augment their presence across their end users. As a National Account Manager you will be responsible for full p&l of a portfolio of accounts in the foodservice channel including restaurant, leisure and travel groups. You will create and implement a profitable JBP with your customer(s) in order to effectively deliver the account strategy. You will be involved in all promotional/pricing activity and the driving NPD. You will liaise cross functionally with shopper marketing, brand and category functions and maintains sustainable relationships with your customers. Operating in a high-performing sales team, you will be challenged with early autonomy in a fast-paced environment. Culturally you will have a hunger to succeed, entrepreneurial flair and a proven commercial acumen. The successful candidate will be of strong graduate calibre with at least 3 years national account management experience in a similar blue-chip branded business. You will possess exceptional analytical skills with excellent communication and negotiation capabilities.
