Job Title: IT Sales Consultant – UK00001W Location: Holborn, London Please note: Public Sector experience is a must to be considered for this role. Role overview: Sopra Steria is seeking determined, industrious IT sales professionals with the experience and ability to sell complex services effectively within the IT industry - especially within Agile frameworks. Experience of selling into the Public Sector - specifically Central Government is highly desirable as you will already thoroughly understand the 'business' issues and drivers currently impacting this market. While the role is based in Holborn, the successful applicant will need to be mobile as the location of clients could be anywhere within the UK. You will be expected to work across a wide variety of different business sectors, both as part of a bid team, leveraging from existing clients and actively seeking out new opportunities with new clients in the Government Procurement sector. Key responsibilities include: · Plan and execute sales growth with assigned sales prospects and according to the timescales set. · Manage sales pipeline to ensure a mix of prospects and opportunities that is appropriate to sales targets. · Develop and manage customer relationships. · Capture and feedback any relevant market intelligence relating to activity across assigned prospects. Essential skills: · Knowledge of the Central Government ITC procurement environment. · Understanding and awareness of Digital (Agile) methodology. · Demonstrable ability to follow sales processes and an existing awareness of sales skills. · Confident at influencing others and able to perform and deliver without day to day supervision. · Good verbal and written communication skills. The successful candidate must be willing to undergo a basic clearance process.
