Sopra Steria Recruitment are now looking for a Business Analyst to be based in either Glasgow or Darlington. Business Analyst Glasgow OR Darlington £29,000 - £37,000 DOE fantastic package My client, a public sector organisation is looking for a Business Analyst to join a small but significant team within their Customer Services and Operations that support business change programmes across the organisation. The successful Business Analyst will be required to engage, influence and inform senior stakeholders internally and externally as you produce analysis and document Business Requirements, User Stories and other project elements, such as impact assessments, AS IS and TO BE process analysis, etc. The successful Business Analyst will facilitate and lead cross functional teams across the company using project methodologies to complete the analysis activities and agreed outputs. Some of the key responsibilities the successful Business Analyst will undertake, include: · Identifying key resources for core team and wider cross functional team of SMEs required to complete analysis · Working with Product Owners and Cross Functional Teams to complete project discovery and inception analysis activities · Create and maintain a plan for the discovery and inceptions phases of the project that is agreed with the Project Manager and supplier teams · Analyse and evaluate the information gathered from various sources, evaluating high level business needs into detailed business requirements or user stories · Challenging the team to ensure improvement of quality and sustainability of change solutions · Assist with supporting the implementation of any new technology into the business. To be considered for the position of Business analyst, you must show: · Proven experience as a Business Analyst · Excellent problem solving skills and knowledge of investigation techniques · Ability to produce high quality analytical outputs · Experience of requirement elicitation and writing · Experience with facilitating workshops · Excellent understanding of processing modelling and use of relevant tools (ideally, BPMN2) · Lead, Agile experience · ISEB diploma would be advantageous If the position of Business Analyst sounds like your next challenge, please apply immediately to avoid disappointment.
