Job Title: SEO Manager Location: Bournemouth, Dorset Salary: DOE Due to growth our client is looking for someone that can hit the ground running and has experience working with multiple brands in the SEO / search marketing space. You'll be an experienced Search Manager, ideally from an agency background who has successfully planned and implemented many successful search campaigns. Job Purpose: To provide search expertise and solutions to clients and training and advice to the wider agency team. To identify and maximise opportunities within incumbent clients, support new business initiatives and develop proposals and ensure these are delivered efficiently, in order to deliver profitable business to the agency. The role will be responsible for providing organic search analysis, expertise and solutions to clients. You'll be adept at identifying and maximising opportunities within incumbent clients and supporting new business initiatives. You will be required to develop and present proposals and ensure these are delivered and measured efficiently. Responsibilities: Internal - Fluid understanding of all aspects of search engine marketing and the monitoring of trends to ensure agency is always ahead of the curve Review current work process and provide recommendations for improvement, manage the implementation then own the process Organise, write, prepare for and deliver meetings, pitches, presentations, seminars, workshops and training. Develop tactical sales support materials Responsible for the development and implementation of a training programme to educate the wider agency about search and how to spot opportunities for selling it into clients. Managing the SEO team - 2 x direct reports Client - Establish major accounts and maintain senior client relationships through close liaison Gain a thorough understanding of business objectives to use in the development of content marketing and SEO strategy Conduct detailed statistical analysis including competitor analysis to produce reports to be used in the formulation of search strategy Creation of search proposals for existing clients Put together innovative online marketing plans incorporating SEO, content development and social media Accurate estimating of jobs to an agreed scope, ensuring all jobs are accurately costed and clearly itemised Briefing, monitoring and control of jobs to ensure efficient completion of work Manage the implementation of search engine optimisation strategy, including the effective management of organic search retainers and projects for clients Work with the Account Management team to ensure efficient and effective integration of search management and reporting, with broader activities they are undertaking for the client Ensure that accurate and detailed records are kept on all aspects of a job and that they are in such a format that they are understandable Invoicing of clients in line with agreed payment plan Accurate, regular and prompt reporting of monthly financials New Business - Targeting and presentation to new clients of SEO capabilities and proposals Involvement in prospective client meetings, as appropriate Preparation, input and presentations at pitches, where required Development of case studies that can be used for both existing and prospective clients The Successful Candidate: Well-organised, self-motivated with great attention to detail and accuracy Can work independently and in a team environment Hungry for a challenge and looking to make an impression/impact A strong communicator at all levels, with the ability to build strong relationships An infectious enthusiasm for all things Search Marketing to inspire others Impeccable attention to detail Ability to identify and maximise opportunities Likes variety Ability to multi-task and meet simultaneous tight deadlines including the ability to handle multiple clients with changing priorities A flexible approach to new projects, ability to see the challenge and be motivated by every project Able to analyse complex business challenges and use creative ways to solve them Ace at delivering a top-class service to all customers Need to be able to work on own initiative and manage yourself effectively Desire to develop others search and digital awareness Essential Experience & Skills: Excellent level of search experience, preferably within an agency environment Proven experience of selling and delivering search campaigns to clients Client-facing - Ability to manage clients and internal relationships diplomatically Excellent organisational and time management skills Reference: 1608-21-7813 Please also attach a covering letter explaining why you are well suited to the role you are applying for.
