Responsible for managing the level of activity within the RVRC control room. This role plays an integral role in creating an efficient Control Room and promotes the best in class service to our customers. The individual undertaking the role should be able to self-manage and will regularly liaise with the customer and be required to report information to your manager on a daily / weekly or monthly basis. The post holder will liaise with customers to alert them of issues and have direct contact with third party installers and internal senior engineers. Key Responsibilities & Duties • Identify locations with high volumes of false alarm activity and technical faults. • Report weekly and monthly on activity and identify trends • Liaising with customers and contract managers to reduce false alarms • Liaising with engineers/installers to reduce technical faults • Actively work with internal and external customers to increase the efficiency of the control room and client service • Maintaining and building good relationships with third party installers. • Accountable for the Soak test process • Take responsibility for RVRC management during RVRC Manager absence • Liaise and build relationship with Head of Operations to create clear process for driving internal change • Drive forward and meet all set targets for business improvement General • To comply with health & safety requirements • To take responsibility for your own health & safety as necessary • To comply with the company’s policies and procedures at all times • To uphold the company’s equal opportunities policy and ensure that any discriminatory practise within the workplace is appropriately challenged • To adhere to all aspects of confidentiality and Data Protection in order to comply with the law The Person • CCTV SIA License • Experience working in ARC OR previous CCTV experience • Excellent analytical skills • Ability to work to own initiative • Excellent organisational skills • Good communications skills at all levels • Knowledge of Microsoft software • Strong interpersonal skills • Observance of procedures and guidelines • Resilient under pressure • Attention to detail This is an opportunity to make a name for yourself within a business who reward their staff both financially and via professional development.
