2nd Line Support Engineer - Warrington - £24- 30K doe The Company: A very dynamic, growing and high-tech company, our client specialise in cloud hosting, specifically infrastructure as a service. They are fast becoming a force in their sector and this is a very exciting time to join them if growth, training and progression within a high-tech arena are your key motivators. The Role: Based on an extremely busy, fast-paced service-desk, reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, you will be fielding support calls from a variety of professional companies, resolving escalated queries from 1st line whilst maintaining excellent customer service and second to none problem-solving skills. You will take ownership of queries and manage through to completion, escalating to 3rd line where required. Maintaining call lists and customer communications, managing accurate records and logging all outcomes. The person: The ideal person will be working within an IT support role already, perhaps working for a managed service provider. You will be used to dealing with a variety of different IT queries, analysing and resolving complex issues quickly and efficiently whilst clearly managing client expectations. You will ideally have experience of the following: Exchange Windows Server Active Directory VMware Citrix Backups In addition you will be a naturally proactive person, someone who will go the extra mile to try and resolve queries in different ways, someone who wants to be a part of pushing the business forward.
