Graduate Trainee Paraplanner Our Client is an Independent Financial Advisers and Financial Planners. Position: Graduate Trainee Paraplanner Location: Pitsford, Northamptonshire Salary: £15,000 per annum About the role: The successful candidate will become a member of the Financial Planning team and will be involved in a wide range of administrative and communication duties helping to support their client service offering. You will, at all times, ensure that activities are handled in a compliant, efficient and accurate manner and you will be fully trained and supported with this. You will benefit from continuous development through on the job training, study material and examinations. As you progress, you can expect your responsibilities within the team to increase and your general duties to become more intensive. As your skills develop you will become responsible for delivering whole sections of the projects you are involved in, rather than the smaller support duties associated with aiding the team, to deliver high quality robust client solutions. Our client envisage a Graduate Trainee Paraplanner will gain the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning quite rapidly with the potential to progress into the Advice Arena and our client will fully support the successful applicant in their endeavours in this regard. Responsibilities: - Liaising with external providers and associated firms in a succinct and clear manner - Organising electronic diaries for the team, including booking in client meetings - Manage phone calls and meet and greet clients, who mostly visit the office, in a friendly, professional and polite manner - Maintaining client files and ensure all paperwork is scanned and filed correctly on a daily basis - Ensuring back office systems are kept up to date - Requesting and collating administration forms and ensuring that they are chased when necessary - Daily processing of application forms and administration forms - Following up of all letters and forms sent, to confirm safe receipt and anticipated turnaround time - Maintaining records of all client and administrative contact details - Printing out valuations and reports ahead of client meetings and creating meeting packs for the advisers to present to clients - Assisting the team with obtaining paperwork and printing off client advice suitability reports, appendices and key investor information documents - Maintaining adequate treating customers fairly (TFC) records and ensuring that TCF is reviewed and procedures followed About you: You will need to be able to demonstrate good written and oral communication skills as well as a willingness to learn and improve.
